This blog is a compilation of several themes that emerged from stories on typhoon Yolanda and its ravages. Everything written here comes from secondary sources in the internet: blogs, electronic papers, online versions of stories from national and regional dailies, video footages. While it could have been better had I done my own interviews and fact-finding, I simply didn’t have the time and resources for that, being a freelance writer. Such interviews could have given more depth to the themes presented here.
